This is a photo of myself and my sister-in-law (Mary & Ann Godfrey) in your beautiful little village. We had come to look around as our husbands' family is from St Hilary, Lazarus Jenkins 1739-1823 married Ann Turbivil 1745-1830, they married about 1777.

Although we didn’t find anything can I just say how welcoming the ladies in the church were, we were invited for tea and had a lovely chat, so not only do you have a very pretty village you have very friendly villagers who it was our privilege to meet, thank you so much.

And this is a message received after Mary was sent details of the usage of the phone box in 2018/19:

Wow thank you so much for the link, it’s fantastic what you have achieved with your phone box, Ann will I know be thrilled that we are in your book.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that day, I brought my daughter to see your little village a few months later and we took a selfie, forgot to send it though, she loved seeing the village and where her decedents came from as much as we did and we plan to come again hopefully in the Spring.

You certainly have a nice community which I am sure will instil in the village children a good sense of helping each other in their future lives.
