There are also post offices in St Athan, Llantwit Major, Boverton, Pontyclun and Llanharry.

The X2 bus service runs along the A48 (top of the St Hilary lane) between Cardiff and Bridgend via Cardiff Bay

There are commuter railway stations in Llantwit Major and Pontyclun.

Waste collection
 
Refuse is collected early on Thursday mornings.  Recycling every week - cardboard/paper/plastic and tins.  Black bags every other week. Garden refuse alternates with black bags during the summer.
