The two closest places of interest are Beaupre Castle and Coed Hills Rural Arts Space - Coed has recently transformed itself into a wedding venue.. Beaupre Castle is a 14th century fortified manor house. It is accessed by taking the St Athan Road out of the village, parking in the lay-by on the left just after joining the Cowbridge road and following the short path across the fields. The aim of the Coed Hills Rural Arts Space is to create more interesting and exciting artwork, and cultivate an appreciation of the natural world. The visitors centre and sculpture trail is open all year round and is free to the public to enjoy. It is a short mile down the Llantithyd road out of the village (the road past the telephone box).
