The St Hilary Choir

The St Hilary Choir, which has been a feature of village life for the last eight years, sings at both church services and other events both in this village and elsewhere.

When we sing in the church we are known as St Hilary Church Choir, but not all our members are church goers and, we are happy to welcome anyone who would care to join us.

Not all our members can read music and we have never refused anyone who has wanted to join us. At the moment in our ranks we have fifteen singers, who come to as many rehearsals as they possibly can.

We mainly sing classical and church music, with Welsh songs and lighter music providing variety. We are also a popular choice for weddings at the church. Sandra Williams, the church organist, is our accompanist.

Practices take place normally at the home (The Covert) of the choirmaster, Chris Mowat on Tuesday evenings at 7.30. His telephone is 01446 771601 or you can email him  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
