defribulator
A defibrillator presentation / demonstration is being held on Sunday 24 September at 12 noon in the Village Hall.
St Hilary can be the site for a community defibrillator thanks to a grant from the Welsh Ambulance Service who will subsidise the purchase of the equipment. However, the village needs to collect at least £500 towards this facility.

Training will be provided to interested villagers by the Welsh Ambulance Service.

The location for the defibrillator has yet to be confirmed, with the Village Hall, the Lychgate and the Phone Box all being considered.

Village Forum

Forum sm
This Village Forum is the opportunity to meet your fellow villagers informally to discuss village things.
The main actions being followed up are:
- review of upkeep of benches and general maintenance of the Clump
- adoption of the telephone box
- village noticeboard
- clearance of the Clump track
- explore possibility of litter bin (via Llanfair CC)
- disseminate information about tree saplings

Click here for the current position on the activities of the four task and finish groups that have been following up the actions from the Village Forum meetings to date.  The next meeting was scheduled for 18 September, but has been postponed pending the decision of Llanfair Community Council about adoption of the phone box at its next meeting on 7 September.  The Forum meeting will be rescheduled when it is clear what needs to be done - most likely in early October.
